Desktop Edition

GeoView Desktop edition enables capturing, sharing and viewing georeferenced imagery and video using various desktop client environments. It is intended for offices and bureaus who need their recordings and meta-data overlayed with existing drawings and displayed in AutoCAD, Map 3D, Civil 3D, or viewed in standalone application. Share your data with colleagues using common geospatial data store, or use GeoView Enterprise provider in corporate environments. Create photo-books in DWG drawings, export recorded imagery as AutoCAD features or to multiple file formats, save imagery directly to hard disk, and more.

GeoView Desktop system architecture

Once installed and set-up, GeoView Desktop provides following functionality:

• Customization - customizing default tools behavior and related options.
• Cameras database - provides recording devices database querying and maintenance functions.
• Imagery data store - enables recordings data store maintenance operations like creating, updating, relocating and deleting.
• Imagery check-out - enables checking-out features from imagery data store into the currently opened drawing.
• Imagery e-transmit - enables e-transmittal operations over checked-out recordings in a drawing.
• Imagery reporting - enables creating Word Document report using layout template and checked-out recordings in a drawing.
• Zooming-in to data extents - enables zooming in to data extents based on contents returned by active imagery providers.
