Imagery Data Store

This functionality enables recordings data store management, once feature data store is successfully created. Recordings stored in a common spatial database can be displayed and queried on specialized desktop clients, including GeoView Standalone application and GeoView for AutoCAD plug-in (both being part of GeoView Desktop Edition). Each data store recording maintains a reference to a raw data source (be it photo, video or accompanying meta-data file) stored on local disk or LAN.

Recordings data store maintenance operations like creating, updating, relocating and deleting are being performed via GeoView Data Store Administrator wizard:

GeoView Data Store Administrator wizard provides following operations:

• Insert new recordings - populates data store with new photo/video recordings based on supplied raw data.
• Update existing recordings - updates existing recordings in a data store based on previously referenced raw data.
• Relocate recordings data paths - enables relocating existing recordings references to raw data paths, in case raw data was moved to different location.
• Delete obsolete recordings - removes recordings whose referenced raw data has been deleted.
