GeoView Web Client enables each user view and modify his own user settings. Modifying user settings requires Write permissions, otherwise user settings are only available for viewing. Once modified, user settings will get persisted on GeoView Server and re-used each time current user logs-on:

Description |
User name |
Specifies user name (identifier) of the currently logged user. This field cannot be modified. |
First name |
Specifies first name of the currently logged user. This field is mandatory if editable. |
Last name |
Specifies last name of the currently logged user. This field is mandatory if editable. |
Company |
Specifies organization name or company department name of the currently logged user. |
Specifies e-mail address the currently logged user. This field is mandatory if editable. |

Language |
Specifies UI language and system locale of the logged user. Available options are: English, Dutch or French. |
Map |
Specifies default background map vendor and map type for the currently logged user. |
Coordinate system |
Specifies default coordinate reference system category and name of the currently logged user: |
Linear units |
Specifies default linear units for the currently logged user. Available options are: Metric or Imperial. |
Angular units |
Specifies angular units for the currently logged user. Available options are: Degrees, Gradians (Gons) or Radians. |
Permissions |
Specifies user permissions. Visible only to Administrators. Available options are: Read, Read/Write or Administrator |
