Data Store Location wizard page enables specifying feature data store location and access credentials. Depending on selected feature data store type, you need to specify either file-based data store location, or server-based service and access credentials to mount newly created data store onto:

File-Based Data Store Providers

For file-based data store providers this wizard page provides following options:

• Data store path - use button to specify feature data store location on disk or network share. Available only for file-based data store providers.

RDBMS-Based Data Store Providers

Data Store Administrator wizard Data Store Location page for RDBMS-based providers

For RDBMS-based data store providers this wizard page provides following options:

• Service name - enter IP address or computer name of the target server machine. Then use button to specify User name and Password parameters to access the server.
• Data store name - enter name of the data store to create. Clicking on a drop-down displays existing data stores (if any) already present on a server.

It also provides following navigation buttons:

• Previous - returns to Specifying Data Store Location wizard page.
• Next - proceeds to Specifying Data Store Schema wizard page.
• Cancel - exits this wizard and closes the dialog.
• Help - displays this help page.
