Feature data store enables organizations using data from a common spatial database and continually update it with current information. Infra Suite supports multiple back-end database types (both file- and RDBMS-based) via feature data store providers. Actual structure of a data store is defined via feature schema, an industry-specific domain model describing spatial features and their properties stored therein. Data store maintenance operations like creating, updating, deleting and others are being performed via Data Store Administrator wizard.

Data Store Administrator initial wizard page enables selecting data store type and related action:

This wizard page provides following options and content management buttons:

• Data store type - enables specifying data store provider used to connect to back-end spatial RDBMS.
• Data store action - specifies intended operation over the feature data store (see below).
• Details... - displays selected data store provider capabilities.

Based on selected data store capabilities, wizard provides following actions:

• Create new data store - creates empty data store based on selected data store type.
• Update existing data store - enables user to update existing data store structure.
• Delete existing data store - removes existing data store along with data in it.
• Select existing data store - sets specified, existing data store as default.

It also provides following navigation buttons:

• Next - proceeds to Specifying Feature Schema wizard page.
• Cancel - exits this wizard and closes the dialog.
• Help - displays this help page.
