Creates a grid of Facility features (as grid tiles), based on selected drawing entities. Each grid tile size directly depends on layout template viewport scale. Once created, facility features can be processed further using AutoCAD-based Infra Suite tools, like their properties changed, get them checked-in into the data store, etc.

Before starting a command, you need to create and make current resulting layer for facility features. Once the command is started, you are asked to either manually select entities, or specify a selection keyword. Please read Selecting Features chapter for description of available command switches. It is possible to select any AutoCAD entities, including points, lines, polylines, etc.

After selecting entities constituting utility network, the tool asks for the buffer size (in meters) used for overlapping facility tiles:

The next step is setting facility name used for resulting grid tiles (i.e. "MyFacility"):

After setting facility name, you're asked to set facility location as well (i.e. "Gent"). Setting this value is optional.

Next step is setting each facility grid number prefix. Setting this value is optional. Facility grid tiles get automatically enumerated starting from 0, and this value enables setting a prefix string value before facility number (i.e. "Facility_01":
